Anglesea is a gorgeous, small coastal town where the bush meets the sea. This allows the stunning advantages of bush, river and sea to combine . There are also a large number of school camps in Anglesea and Go Ride A Wave arranges surfing lessons for almost all of them.

Our surf school specialises in daily, beginner surf lessons. Furthermore, group and private lessons are available on request. Our surfing lessons are all run in waist deep water because we want to keep it safe for beginners. Anglesea learn to surf is run by Go Ride A Wave, Australia’’s favourite surf school. Our shop is opposite the beach and is the closest shop to the beach. It is only a short walk to the beach or river for lessons and hire.

Surf Hire

Anglesea learn to surf has a wide range of surf hire available, which includes a full range of soft learner “Gboards”. We also have a full range of NSP hardboards which are excellent for intermediate and high level surfers. Since then we have grown considerably and now operate in Torquay and right along the Great Ocean Road. We are now also in South East Queensland on the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. Go Ride a Wave is not a franchise operation.  It is all one company which is still expanding to new locations.
